These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the basis on which New Jackson Healthcare ("we", "us", or "our") provides services to individuals ("you" or "the patient"). By using our website or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and use your personal data.

1. About Us

New Jackson Healthcare is a private healthcare service based in Manchester, UK. We offer doctor-led consultations, weight management services, blood testing, and vitamin injections, delivered in person and via remote consultations (video or telephone). We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and operate in line with UK healthcare regulations.

2. Who We Treat

  • We provide services exclusively to adults aged 18 and over.

  • We do not require photo ID to register or attend.

  • You may make enquiries or bookings on behalf of another adult, provided consent is obtained.

  • We follow strict safeguarding and emergency protocols in line with our internal policy.

3. Services We Provide

We offer the following services:

  • In-person and remote consultations (video or telephone)

  • Private prescriptions, where clinically appropriate

  • Referral letters if medically indicated

  • Blood tests, with samples taken on-site and sent to Viva Health Laboratory

  • Vitamin B12 and D injections

  • Lifestyle medicine support, health optimisation, and preventative care

All consultations are provided by UK-licensed doctors. Occasionally, consultations may be audio or video recorded for clinical governance purposes, though this is rare.

Our services are not a substitute for NHS general practice or emergency services. We encourage patients to maintain regular contact with their NHS GP.

4. Appointments & Consultations

  • Appointments can be booked via our online system (Semble).

  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical history.

  • For video/phone consultations, it is your responsibility to ensure stable internet and audio/visual setup.

If your doctor determines you need in-person assessment, diagnostics, or specialist referral, this will be discussed during your appointment.

5. Private Prescriptions

  • Prescriptions are issued at the doctor’s discretion and are sent to a named private pharmacy.

  • We do not require GP consent to prescribe but recommend informing your GP for continuity of care.

  • Some medications, including controlled drugs and high-risk items, will not be prescribed.

  • You are responsible for payment and collection of prescribed items.

  • Prescriptions are issued for your use only and must not be shared with others.

6. Blood Tests and Results

  • Blood samples are taken in person and sent to Viva Health Laboratory for analysis.

  • You may receive results securely via Semble or email.

  • A follow-up appointment may be recommended to interpret and act on results.

7. Payment & Fees

  • Payment is usually taken at the time of booking via bank transfer or Stripe (card payments).

  • Occasionally, payment may be taken after a consultation (e.g. if services change).

  • If you are issued an invoice, payment must be made within 24 hours. We reserve the right to cancel your appointment if payment is not received within this timeframe.

All prices are shown clearly at the time of booking and may be subject to change. Services are not covered by insurance at this time.

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • You may cancel up to 48 hours before your appointment for a full refund.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment is treated as a cancellation.

  • If you are late to an appointment and cannot be seen, this will be treated as a short-notice cancellation and is non-refundable.

If technical issues or service faults on our part prevent delivery of the service, we will offer a full refund or reschedule at no extra charge.

9. Use of Website and Materials

  • All content, branding, and resources on our website (including logos, text, images, PDFs, and digital guides) are the property of New Jackson Healthcare.

  • You may not reuse, copy, or distribute our content without explicit written consent.

We may offer digital resources for download or purchase in future.

10. Data Protection

Your personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

We do not share your data with third parties without your consent unless required by law or for direct care purposes (e.g. labs, pharmacies, Semble).

11. Third Parties

  • We are not responsible for services provided by external laboratories, pharmacies, or referral specialists.

  • You are free to choose your own providers if we refer or recommend services.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, operational, or service changes. Any material changes will be communicated on our website. Continued use of our services after updates implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

You also have the right to contact the Care Quality Commission (CQC) or the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if your concern relates to safety or data privacy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the English courts unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case local laws apply.
